DAVID HAGAN

David Hagan is a highly accomplished civil construction professional with over 30 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally, ranging in value from $1M to nearly $1B. As Director and licensed Building Work Supervisor of Civil Consulting and Construction Pty Ltd (CCC), David brings a rare combination of hands-on site expertise, commercial acumen, and senior leadership capability to every project the company undertakes.
David's career spans estimating, project management, construction management, and client-side contract management across a broad range of civil disciplines — including major road and highway construction, land subdivision, streetscapes, renewable energy infrastructure, and defence projects. He has held senior roles with Tier 1 contractors including Lendlease Engineering, John Holland JV, and Hansen Yuncken, and has served as Contract Manager for the South Australian Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) across projects throughout the state, including remote works in the APY Lands and flood recovery on the Strzelecki Track.
Notable career highlights include his role as Bulk Earthworks and Roadworks Superintendent on the $980M Northern Connector motorway project, Project Supervisor on the $812M South Road Superway, and Construction Manager on the complex Tram Grade Separation Project in Adelaide. David also operated his own construction business for over 16 years, managing teams of up to 60 and delivering projects across both the private and commercial sectors.
A degree-qualified construction professional, David holds a Civil Contractors Licence and Supervisors Licence issued by Consumer and Business Services South Australia. He is also a MATES in Construction Assist accredited, reflecting his deep commitment to workforce wellbeing and safety culture.
